Espresso Versus Cappucino

Being a coffee and caffeine addict, as many people claim themselves to be, often involves drinking many types of coffee products, such as espresso, cappuccino, regular coffee, as well as many other forms of the drink itself. However, one aspect of coffee that many people mistakenly get wrong is the fact that they think espresso and cappuccino are the same exact drink when in fact they are not. Even though espresso and cappuccino may look like the same drink and may be considered the same by the average coffee drinker, for true espresso fans espresso is a totally different drink altogether! Here are some of the main differences between the two drinks and perhaps some reasons why many people prefer one over the other:

Cappuccino is Generic

Perhaps one of the reasons that many people consider cappuccino to be an espresso drink is because cappuccino has traditionally been a coffee drink that has had some espresso in it. Even though cappuccino is more of a regular coffee consistency the first form of cappuccino was made partly from espresso. Nevertheless, though, since cappuccino isn’t 100% espresso then they naturally have very different tastes. On the other hand many people who dislike regular espresso will often turn to cappuccino for a spruced up version of many of the coffee brands that they drink! Just as there are many different kinds of espresso flavors and drinks on the market today, so too are there just as many different ways to make an espresso beverage. The main difference, however, in making an espresso base coffee beverage lies in the machine that is used to make it. There are multiple types of espresso machines on the market today and buying the right one is crucial to having the best espresso beverage for yourself and the other individuals you have purchased the machine for. Many people use an espresso machine in their business, and coffee shops are the perfect example of businesses that typically invest in espresso machines.

Altogether, though, there are more than five different types of espresso machines and the taste of the espresso is probably slightly different when made from each one even though the process of making the espresso is basically the same. Espresso is one of those caffeinated coffee beverages that are usually held to a higher standard because everyone loves the drink dearly! Even though not exactly coffee, espresso has some of the same characteristics of a jolted coffee serving. Millions of people all over the world drink espresso at some point throughout their life and for many it becomes a daily routine. In fact, if a person who typically has espresso in their diet is away from their regular routine and can’t get their hands on an espresso shot then chances are that they’ll literally go nuts! On the other hand there are some good alternatives to an espresso beverage if you are unable to drink it for some reason or another. Many people away on business trips may have a hard time finding espresso stations, so here are some things to have instead of espresso in the morning or the evening:

There are probably hundreds of thousands of individuals that start off their day and mornings with a shot of espresso beverages. In addition, those same people probably also have a shot of espresso in the evening before they go to bed. If you are one of those espresso drinkers, though, have you ever considered that you may be fostering an unhealthy habit?
